Widgets for every screen you look at

Sprout's widgets put your numbers where your eyes already go. Add them to your Home Screen, your Lock Screen, or StandBy while your iPhone charges on its side, and you'll see your spending without opening a thing. Four widgets cover the day, the month, your streak, and your Sprout.

• Today: what you've spent today next to a typical day, in Home Screen and Lock Screen sizes.
• Month Pace: this month's spending, where it's heading, and where it goes.
• Streak: your Money Minute streak and the next milestone, including a round Lock Screen version.
• Garden: your Sprout pet, with an interactive Check in button that works right from the widget.

Today's spending as a Live Activity

Pin today's spending to your Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island with a Live Activity. It shows your running total for the day, how it compares with a typical day, and your latest purchase. Glance at your phone in a checkout line and you know exactly where the day stands.

Start it from the app, ask Siri to "Pin today's spending with Sprout", or set it to start on its own every morning. Pinning it the first time also earns the Live and direct achievement in Sprout's daily habit. It's the fastest way to keep one number honest all day.

Siri, Shortcuts, the Action button, and Control Center

Sprout's shortcuts are ready without setup. Say "Hey Siri, what did I spend today in Sprout" for a quick total, or "Check in with Sprout" to keep your streak alive. The same actions appear in Spotlight and the Shortcuts app, and you can assign one to the Action button on iPhone models that have it.

Control Center gets two Sprout controls. One waters your Sprout and keeps your streak without opening the app. The other opens Sprout ready for your question, so asking about your money takes one swipe and one tap. Here's what each spoken action does.

Notifications you can act on, and a few fun extras

Sprout's notifications come with actions, so a daily reminder can check you in straight from the banner. Choose the hour for your daily recap and decide whether you want streak reminders, transaction alerts, and weekly updates. Offers and promotional reminders stay off unless you opt in.

Then there's the fun stuff. iMessage stickers starring Sprout, six extra app icons you earn through achievements, and invite-a-friend rewards when someone you invite starts Sprout. None of it is required, and all of it makes a money app feel a lot less like homework.

Ask anything, then keep going on iPad and Mac

Under the widgets, Sprout is an AI money assistant. Ask where your money went, what renewed this week, or how September compared with August, and get the number with the accounts and dates behind it. Spending, subscriptions, cash flow, and unusual charges are all one question away.

On iPad, the same app gets a bigger canvas for charts and tables. Your account, connected banks, and saved conversations follow you to the Mac and the web app, so a question you start on the train can continue at your desk.

Private by default, read-only by design

Sign in with Apple, Google, or email. Banks connect separately through Plaid, which runs the bank sign-in, so Sprout never sees or stores your bank password. The connection is read-only: Sprout can't move money, pay bills, or change an account. You choose which accounts to connect and can disconnect any of them at any time.

Sprout does not sell personal data, and an AI provider only receives your question and the records needed to answer it. If you ever want out, go to More → Delete account to erase your banks, transactions, and conversations. The full picture is on the security page.
