Before you connect anything.
Can Sprout spend my money?
No. The connection Sprout requests is read-only, so payments, transfers, and card changes are not available to it. Ask Sprout to pay a bill and it will tell you it cannot.
Who sees my bank login?
Only your bank. Plaid handles the sign-in inside its own flow and hands Sprout an authorized connection, never your password.
Which banks work?
Eligible institutions available through Plaid. Coverage depends on your bank and country; the connection flow shows the banks currently available.
Does an AI read my transactions?
Only when you ask a question, and only the records needed to answer it.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible Apple accounts get 3 days free with Sprout Plus on iPhone. Then your selected plan renews at US$9.99 per week or US$99.99 per year. Apple confirms local pricing and eligibility before purchase. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid a charge.
